Reflective glass creates the illusion of additional habitat a bird thinks it can reach. It must be treated with a high-contrast hue, like our white markers, which stand out against the green and brown shades of the habitat.
Fly-through glass happens when birds see greenery and/or sky on the other side but do not understand the glass is there as a barrier preventing them from reaching it.
Fly-through glass must be treated with a high-contrast hue, like our black markers, which stand out against the light shades of the sky and clouds.
If you have both fly-through and reflective glass issues, we recommend treating it as a reflective issue with the white markers on the first surface side (exterior surface).
