Black Markers for Fly-Through Glass
Fly-through glass happens when birds see greenery and/or sky on the other side but do not understand the glass is there as a barrier preventing them from reaching it. Bus shelters, clear railings, and walkways between buildings are just some examples of fly-through glass.
Fly-through glass must be treated with a high-contrast hue, like our black markers, which stand out against the light shades of the sky and clouds.

If you have both fly-through and reflective glass issues, we recommend treating it as you would reflective glass with white markers on the first surface side (exterior surface) or whichever side you are seeing the most strikes happen on.
